On the day of your treatment session, arrive at Adam and Eve Medical Aesthetics Scottsdale about 15 to 20 minutes prior to your appointment time. This allows ample time for us to address questions or concerns and for you to fill out any necessary paperwork. Once you are in our treatment room, one of our trained professionals will clean your face and mark the injection sites. Restylane is then injected into the skin at the indicated points. After your procedure, you can resume normal activity almost immediately. Avoid any vigorous activity for at least 24-hours post-treatment. Also, do not massage or put pressure on the treatment area. Direct sun exposure is not advisable for the first few days after treatment. Many patients notice some bruising and swelling immediately after treatment. This is typically short-term and should resolve on its own within 2 to 3 days. You can use cold compresses and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen to help with any minimal discomfort.
